Hansi Hansi was a very personal and intimate bed and breakfast in the former Belle Epoque skiing village of Bad Gastein. Refurbished by friends and managed by Tina and Felix is probably all you need to know about this place.

Hansi was the grandfather of Felix, who used to be a butcher and chef - well known for his spare ribs and exceptional cevapcici. His wife, Felix’ grandmother Juditta and he owned the restaurant in the Felsentherme Bad Gastein in the 1970’s. After preparing the meat for the business Hansi mostly went either hunting, skiing or golfing. Juditta ran the restaurant and her sister Maria took care of the b&b in the meanwhile.

We were specialized in breakfasts, for us the diversity in cooking cultures and techniques are as important as local products and best quality ingredients. This house was in a way a magical place for people who were able to let themself go. A Bed and Breakfast beyond standards and expectations, an accomodation with more than personality. We always called our main set vibes, now Hansi Hansi doesn't exist anymore in the way we and everybody who visited knew it. In the best case we will remember it as the place it used to be and in the worst case it is all good anyway! Thanks to all those who had the chance to visit Hansi Hansi.
